Your Escape Plan to Paradise

Flight to Providenciales
Arriving in Turks and Caicos is a breeze, with most guests flying directly into Providenciales International Airport (PLS)—the island’s main international airport and the closest arrival point to Grace Bay and surrounding villa communities.
Nonstop flights are available from many major U.S. cities on leading airlines including American, Delta, United, JetBlue, and Southwest, with average flight times of 2 to 4.5 hours on direct flights from a Primary Hub, which include:
Dallas/ Ft. Worth DFW
Chicago O’ Hare ORD
Atlanta ATL
Charlotte CLT
New York JFK EWR
Connecting flights from the West Coast are typically red eye and connect to one of the Primary Hubs. Total travel time is as little as 8.5 hours, including layover, sometimes more.
Upon landing, guests will need to plan on waiting in line for Customs, which can take anywhere from 20 minutes -1 hour.
A valid passport is required for all U.S. and Canadian travelers.

Expedited Entry/Departure Services
For a smoother airport experience, many guests choose a Fast Track service when arriving to or departing from Providenciales International Airport (PLS). Companies like SkyPassTCI offer meet-and-greet services that help you skip long lines at immigration, customs, and security.
On arrival, a representative meets you at the aircraft or terminal entrance and escorts you through expedited lanes, assisting with paperwork and guiding you all the way through the airport. On departure, Fast Track includes priority check-in, security, and departure assistance, making the process quicker and far less stressful.
Pricing typically ranges from approximately $75–$150 per person, depending on arrival vs. departure service, travel dates, and demand. Discounted Group rates are available.
Fast Track is especially helpful during peak travel days, holidays, or weekend arrivals, and is a popular choice for families, groups, and guests who want to start (or end) their trip with ease.
To reserve Fast Track service, visit SkyPassTCI.
Getting Around The Island
Getting around Providenciales is simple. A rental car offers the most flexibility for exploring beyond Grace Bay, while many nearby spots are easily walkable. Biking is ideal mostly within Grace Bay, as longer distances aren’t typically recommended. Taxis are abundant, yet it’s helpful to keep contact info for reliable drivers for easy pick-ups.
Grace Bay Car Rentals
Grace Bay Car Rentals is within a short walking distance (approx 8 mins) from the property and has the only dedicated rental car facility at the airport – just look up the hill as you exit the arrival doors.
To book in advance, visit their website Grace Bay Car Rentals.

Taxis
Taxis are easy to find and widely used throughout Grace Bay and Providenciales. They don’t operate with meters, so fares are set by zone and number of passengers, and prices are generally consistent island-wide.
You can catch taxis at hotels, resorts, restaurants, and popular beaches, or have one called for you by a concierge or via WhatsApp. For dinners, airport transfers, or nights out, many guests prefer to pre-arrange a taxi or driver for convenience and peace of mind.
Uber and Lyft are not available on the island. Waze is the adopted app, but drivers are limited in —usually only a handful are active at any given time, so availability can be inconsistent. It’s best to keep business cards from reliable drivers and contact them on What’sApp directly for future rides.
Transfer Services
In Turks & Caicos, WhatsApp is the most common way to communicate with drivers and transportation services. Once your transfer is arranged, you’ll typically connect directly with your driver on WhatsApp to share your flight number, arrival time, and any updates.
We work with a few drivers whose numbers we can provide for your convenience.
Turks Driving 101
It is important to note: Driving in Turks & Caicos is pretty similar to the U.S., with one main difference: you drive on the left side of the road. Roads are easy to navigate, traffic is generally light, and the overall pace is relaxed—especially around Providenciales.
You’ll also encounter roundabouts instead of traffic lights, which keep things moving smoothly. Just remember to yield to traffic coming from the right.
Good news for U.S. drivers: rental cars are typically left-hand steering, just like at home.
Average Rates
Taxi from PLS Airport → Grace Bay: Approximately $30–$35 USD for 2 passengers on a shared airport taxi, and $30-35 per person on private. Always confirm whether pricing is per person or per ride before departing.
Short taxi rides within Grace Bay: typically $15–$40+ USD, depending on distance, number of passengers, and luggage.
Private airport transfers / SUV services: Generally $50–$145+ USD per vehicle.
Car rentals: Car rental is roughly $55 a day for a small 4 seat, to around $180 for a 5 seat SUV, and $200 for a 9 seat van, not including taxes or fees.
